luxury four-bedroom villa with private infinity pool offers its
privileged guests the most spectacular and breathtaking sea views of any
property in this ever-popular quality beach resort.
Occupying
an elevated plot on the hills above Son Bou's two-mile-long sandy beach,
in a quiet cul-de-sac, it also offers a peaceful and tranquil base from
where one can explore the many unspoilt beaches and countryside that
make Menorca so unique.
The
villa is accessed at street level through an automatic wrought iron
security gate with a staircase leading up to the one bedroom independent
annexe, which has its own entrance door and offers a double bed and a
full ensuite bathroom.
A
further staircase from the apartment leads up to the main villa. A
toughened glass lockable security gate is at the top of the stairs, and
matching glass panels plus a further lockable safety gate surround the
beautiful 10x4m infinity-effect swimming pool. In front of the pool and
surrounding the villa is an extensive tiled terrace area with ample
space for the sun beds, parasols, and teak dining table and chairs,
which can be placed under a covered pergola area or on the open terrace.
At one end of the terrace is a large built-in BBQ with aluminium grill
and food preparation area. To the side of the BBQ, another toughened
glass safety gate restricts access to the lawned and landscaped garden
area, reached via a few stairs.
The
oak entrance door opens into an impressive entrance hall. Off the hall
to the right is the spacious living room, comfortably furnished with
three sofas and various other quality furniture items, and equipped with
plasma screen TV, DVD, video and CD music player. Sliding double doors
provide direct access to the terrace and pool, and from this room guests
can enjoy the wonderful sea views.
To
the left of the hall is the fully fitted modern kitchen, though designed
in a rustic farmhouse style. A full range of oak units accommodate the
extensive range of crockery, cutlery, glasses, cooking equipment and
utensils - everything you need for the self-catering holiday - and there
is also a large American-style integral fridge-freezer, complete with
icemaker and chilled water dispenser. A microwave, dishwasher, electric
ceramic hob and electric oven also feature. Off the kitchen is a utility
room housing the washing machine and separate tumble dryer.
To
the rear of the entrance hall is a cloakroom with WC and wash basin, and
also a raised marble landing and marble returning staircase to the top
floor, where the main villa's three bedrooms and two further bathrooms
are located.
The
master bedroom has king-size mattress set in an elm bed frame; it has a
fully tiled ensuite bathroom with bath/shower, WC, bidet and wash basin.
Sliding doors from all three bedrooms provide access to a balcony
running along the whole length of the villa, and all bedrooms enjoy the
uninterrupted sea views.
The
other bedrooms both have two single beds in each, and all bedrooms have
fitted wardrobes. These two bedrooms share a full family bathroom of
identical design and quality to the ensuite.
The
villa has air-conditioning and heating to all four bedrooms, living
room, and lower hall and upper floor corridor. This outstanding property
has been the cherished second home of its owners, and this is the first
year it has been offered for rental. It has been designed, furnished and
equipped to a high quality throughout.
The
beach and the range of bars, restaurants, shops and entertainment
facilities of Son Bou are a 20-minute walk away, or 2-3 minutes by car.
These facilities include a new 16-lane ten pin bowling and entertainment
complex, and the waterslides, maze and huge communal pool of Club San
Jaime.
Due
to its position atop the most elevated part of San Jaime/Son Bou, the
stairs providing access from street level, this property is not
considered suitable for guests with mobility problems. Saturday
