VM008  This traditional detached split-level villa occupies one of the most spectacular and enviable plots in the resort of Cala en Porter. This is a truly 'front-line' property set on a cliff immediately above the sea, and therefore benefits from stunning, uninterrupted sea views from the pool, terraces, sitting room and three of the four bedrooms.

The villa is located at the end of a cul-de-sac shared with two other properties and is accessed through a gated stone arch to the side of the property.

Accommodation comprises, on the entrance level, a good-sized open plan kitchen/sitting room/dining room, comfortably furnished in Spanish style with ceiling fan, sofas, TV with free to view satellite channels, dining table and chairs. The compact well-equipped kitchen has fitted units with marble worktops, gas cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave etc. A washing machine is situated in the utility room on this level' this room also has a shower cubicle and WC.

Also on this level are two bedrooms - one with double bed, bedside tables and fitted wardrobes - and the other with two single beds.

Stairs lead to the lower level where there are a further two bedrooms. The master double, a spacious room with fitted wardrobes, bedside tables and dressing table, has french doors on to the pool terrace plus a very large ensuite bathroom with a sunken bath set in marble slabs, a WC and a vanity unit. The second twin bedroom also has the same standard of bedroom furnishings. There is a further family bathroom with bath, shower attachment, WC and wash basin.

Externally, there is an arched covered terrace area on the entrance level. Steps lead down to another covered terraced and a further sun terrace around the triangular pool, and to the side of the villa. There are ample sun loungers, table and chairs plus a brick-built barbecue.

The vista from the pool and terrace is truly incredible, with the sea less than 50m away. If superb front-line sea views are high on your wish list, this villa will be for you.

The resort centre of Cala 'n Porter and the stairs or road down to the lovely sandy beach are 10-15 minutes walk away. Cala en Porter offers one of the largest selection of restaurants, bars, shopping and entertainment facilities of any resort on the eastern half of the island.

Due to low walls and the style of terracing, care should be taken with young children at this villa. In Low and Mid seasons, this villa can be booked as a three-bed property at a lower rate. Monday change-over.

Resort information

The popular, busy family resort of Cala en Porter has something for everyone. A large resort by Menorcan standards and one of the oldest on the island, it is situated on the south-east coast with a lovely setting on the eastern cliffs above a large sandy beach with sunloungers and pedaloes for hire. It has an abundance of bars, restaurants, supermarkets and shops, catering mostly for the British. A roadtrain carries visitors up and down from the resort to the beach. Cala en Porter is famous for the Coves d'en Xoroi - a complex of natural caves high up on the side of the cliff to the east of the beach.
