VM007  This traditional Menorcan villa is set in a large private plot on a cul de sac in the popular family resort of Binibeca and is ideally situated for a relaxing family holiday with the beach, shops and restaurants of Cala Torret a 10-minute walk away.

Set in pretty gardens, entrance to the villa is via the living/dining room comfortably furnished with sofa, chairs, glass-topped coffee table, extending dining table (to seat eight) and satellite (free to view channels) TV and video/DVD. There is also a mini hi-fi with CD, tape and radio. Off the sitting/dining room is a compact and well equipped kitchen with full cooker, halogen hob, fridge/freezer, microwave and dishwasher. A door leads out to a covered drying area with washing machine and tumble dryer, access to the fourth annexe bedroom and patio/dining area with built-in seating and a large purpose built barbecue.

The interior hallway gives access to the bedrooms: one double and two twins, all with fully built-in wardrobes and ceiling fans. There are two modern bathrooms, one full and one shower room with wc. The fourth bedroom is in the annexe and provides ideal accommodation for grandparents, a nanny, teenagers or parents with a baby. It has twin beds which can be arranged as a double, a ceiling fan, a large pine wardrobe and an ensuite shower room with wc. This villa has a built-in safe.

French doors lead from the sitting/dining room out on to the covered terrace with table and chairs and the pretty gardens with a spectacular palm tree offering lots of shade. There is an 8x4m swimming pool (shallow-end depth 1.1m) with underwater lighting; there is also extensive outdoor lighting right around the villa. There are ample sun loungers, parasols and an outdoor shower. Steps lead up to a roof terrace with views down to the sea. Monday change-over.

Menorca south-east region guide

The coastal resort of Binibeca has a lovely sandy beach and sheltered bay, and features tennis courts, numerous shops, restaurants and bars. There is a diving school and boat launching facilities at Cala Torret. The nearby historic town of Sant Lluis is just six mins by car, Mahon around 15 minutes and the airport around the same.
