VM004  This large, airy and spacious four bedroom, four bathroom air conditioned villa with private pool, is situated an unusually large double plot of more than 2000sq m, in a quiet cul-de-sac in Son Parc, on Menorca's dramatic and beautiful north coast. Its large plot and secluded location offer guests a comfortable, tranquil home from home and a high level of privacy.

Several steps lead up to the main entrance door, which opens into the large living/dining room. This beamed and high-ceilinged room is comfortably furnished with pine furniture traditional in Menorca holiday homes, including sofas, lounge chairs, coffee table, wall unit, dining table and chairs, and is equipped with TV (with free-to-view Sky channels), DVD, PlayStation 2 and CD music system. Double patio doors from the lounge open to the exterior BBQ/dining terrace (part covered) and the adjacent pool and surrounding terrace.

A corridor from the living/dining room leads to the villa's four air-conditioned spacious bedrooms. These comprise four twin bedded rooms - two have fully tiled ensuite bathrooms while the other two are served by two further bathrooms at the opposite end of the corridor. The bathrooms have bath, shower, WC and hand basins. All bedrooms have fitted wardrobes and three have doors opening out on to the terrace.

Also off the living/dining room is a good-sized kitchen with utility room, furnished with an extensive range of pine base and wall units with granite work tops. The kitchen is fully equipped for self-catering, including electric oven, gas hob, extractor, microwave, dishwasher, fridge-freezer, electric kettle and toaster and the utensils, crockery and cutlery necessary. A washing machine is located in the adjacent utility room.

Externally this villa offers extensive mature and landscaped gardens, and unusually large tiled terrace areas. These include a covered outside dining area with built-in brick BBQ, and ample sunbathing terraces around the 10x5m swimming pool. Gates on to the pool area can be closed or locked to offer a higher level of security for younger children. A pool alarm is available if required.

The large size of the plot, combined with the quiet, secluded location of the cul-de-sac, provides guests with a high level of privacy and tranquillity. Very close by is the island's 18-hole golf course and driving range, tennis and a good choice of bars, restaurants and shops, plus the lovely sandy beach of Son Saura. Water sports - sailing, diving and water ski-ing - are available in Fornells Bay, which is approximately a 10-minute drive. Monday change-over.

Menorca north region guide

Son Parc is an attractive urbanisation on Menorca's beautiful north coast. It has its own lovely horseshoe-shaped sandy beach, as well as a good selection of shops, restaurants and bars. Between five and 10 minutes drive is a range of other beaches and resorts, including Arenal d'en Castell, Na Macaret, Puerto Addaya and the picturesque fishing village of Fornells.
