VFW003 This well established private villa offers a superb, quiet location in the popular family resort of Cala Galdana and offers unique accommodation in that the villa is made up of two separate apartments, upper and lower - each with its own entrance which makes it ideal for two families who wish to holiday together. The villa is available to rent only as a whole property but is available in low, mid and high seasons at a lower rate for up to six guests occupying only one floor.

Accommodation comprises, on the ground floor:
One double bedroom and one twin bedroom sharing a full family bathroom. Modern well equipped kitchen and open plan comfortably furnished sitting/dining room with doors out to the pool and garden.

First floor
Two double bedrooms and one twin bedroom sharing a full family bathroom. Large sitting/dining room with doors onto a large covered terrace, well equipped kitchen and a separate WC.

All bedrooms have ceiling fans and the ground floor has recently been totally refurbished. Facilities include TV, CD music system, video, washing machine and barbecue. The upstairs accommodation additionally features Sky free-to-view TV channels.

The swimming pool with ladder access is surrounding by teak decking and is fenced and gated for child safety. A large sunbathing terrace surrounds the pool with table/chairs and sun loungers.

This wonderfully flexible villa has the added advantage of being only five minutes walk from the lovely horseshoe shaped beach, with the main resort being around 15 minutes walk. A small grass children's park is just a few minutes walk from the villa, as is a gently sloping coastal path which leads to the beautiful protected beach of Cala Mitjana. There is off-road parking for one car. Early booking strongly recommended. Friday/flexible day change-over.

Resort information

Cala Galdana - also known as Santa Galdana - is called the Queen of Menorca's coves thanks to its spectacular setting. The horseshoe beach of golden sand nestles between tall limestone cliffs and pine trees, which are reflected in the sea. It has recently grown into a busy resort, ideal for a family holiday with enough facilities to keep everyone happy. There are several beach bars, a wide range of watersports, mini golf and a small water slide for the children. The Cala Galdana mini express train is a relaxing way to enjoy the resort; it takes you to some spectacular viewpoints on the cliffside. The beautiful, unspoilt beaches of Cala Trebaluger, Macarella and Mitjana are close by
