This substantial detached four-bedroom, four-bathroom air-conditioned
villa has probably one of the best locations in Binibeca. It enjoys
spectacular sea views from the beautifully landscaped gardens and
terraces and is set in a double plot of in excess 2000m at the end of a
quiet cul-de-sac. It is just a few hundred metres from the sea, bars,
restaurants, shops and Binibeca's lovely, family friendly beach.
The
property, built in the mid '70s, was partially renovated four years ago
and the whole property, including the yet to be modernised areas such as
the bathrooms, have been very well maintained. The property offers very
comfortable, tranquil, relaxed and spacious accommodation along with
complete privacy. It has the added benefit of internet access.
The main
entrance door of the villa opens into a small hallway, and immediately
in front is the large L-shaped living/dining room. This light and airy
room is furnished with good quality modern furniture, including leather
sofas, hide-leather lounging chair, large occasional table, and a dining
table and chairs. There is a plasma screen TV (with access to UK SKY
free-to-view channels), DVD, and a separate TV in the other part of the
room which can be used with the PlayStation, plus a CD music player.
Large double patio doors open from the lounge on to the huge covered
outside terrace which has rollup/down windy/wet weather transparent
screens - ideal for still sitting outside when the weather is inclement.
To the
right of the entrance hall area is a bedroom furnished with two single
beds and double fitted wardrobes; off this bedroom is a fully tiled
ensuite with a small bath with integral seat plus wall mounted shower
attachment and sliding glass shower doors.
Straight
ahead to the right of the entrance hall, and accessed via an arch, is a
corridor leading to two more bedrooms: a master bedroom with king-size
bed and tempur memory mattress, full range of fitted wardrobes, bedside
tables and lamps. a good sized fully tiled ensuite is off the bedroom,
comprising full-size bath with sliding shower doors, shower attachment,
toilet, bidet and wash basin set in a vanity unit with large mirror
above. Garden and sea views can be enjoyed from this room.
At the
end of this corridor is a further bedroom (ideal for two children) with
single bed, bedside table, lamp and wardrobe. There is a pull-out
mattress under the bed to sleep a child.
Also off
this corridor is a fully tiled family bathroom, with WC, bath with
sliding shower doors and shower attachment, wash basin in a vanity unit,
mirror and bidet.
To the
immediate left of the entrance is the well equipped kitchen - with a
full range of fitted pine kitchen units, electric oven and ceramic hob,
fridge-freezer, dishwasher, electric kettle, toaster, coffee-maker etc.
Beyond the kitchen is a large utility room with a range of storage
cupboards, and also the Bosch washing machine and separate tumble dryer.
Also from
this end of the kitchen is access, via a short passageway, to the fourth
bedroom, furnished with a double bed, large wardrobe, bedside tables and
lamps, and off this is an ensuite with half-bath, sliding shower doors,
shower attachment, WC, wash basin in vanity, and bidet.
The
exterior of this traditional Menorquin villa is exceptional. There is an
80sq m covered terrace with a large wooden dining table and chairs, a
large gas BBQ and CD music system. Spectacular panoramic views to the
rugged coastline of Cala Torret, Binibeca can be enjoyed from here.
Several
steps from the raised terrace lead down to the beautiful landscaped and
extensive lawned gardens. Surrounding the pool is a terrace constructed
with attractive and natural mares (limestone) tiles. It has ample room
for the sunbeds, parasols and drinks tables. The terrace surrounds the
12x6m heated swimming pool with roman step access. Traditional Menorcan
rustic olive fencing surrounds two sides of the pool for safety. The
shallow end is 0.8m, gradually deepening to 1.8m. To the rear of the
pool terrace in the centre of a lawn is a paved circular patio area with
dining table and matching chairs.

Returning
guests from recent rental seasons have been high in praise so
early booking for 2012 is essential. Included in the rental is the
internet access and air-conditioning. The pool heating attracts an extra charge
of £50 per week and must be booked in advance if required. Friday changeover.
