VF010  This lovely villa (a treasured second family home) occupies a spectacular location with panoramic views overlooking Mahon Harbour in the exclusive area of Sant Antoni. It also benefits from steps leading down to the waters edge and a private mooring for boats up to 40ft. Frontline locations such as this are much sought after, so early booking is recommended.

Accommodation comprises, on the ground floor:

• Well-equipped kitchen/ dining room with large dining table, hob/oven, microwave, fridge freezer and dishwasher

• Laundry room with washing machine and access to the drying area

• Large L-shaped living room with comfortable sofas, sat TV (free-to-view channels) and CD player. French windows open onto a sun terrace harbour views

• Twin bedroom with en-suite bathroom and french windows onto terrace overlooking the pool area and views towards the harbour mouth

The villa exterior is the most relaxing place to unwind and watch the amazing sunsets. There is a wonderful pergola covered dining terrace next to the kitchen and an attractive terrace off the sitting room with comfortable cane furniture and fantastic views.

Completing the outdoor living is a second dining terrace with BBQ and small kitchen situated by the large swimming pool (with roman step access), which is surrounded by plenty of terracing and harbour views. To the front on the villa are the steps leading down to the water and the mooring.

The villa is just less than a five-minute drive from the tiny village of Mesquida, which has a small local shop and bar. The beach at Mesquida is spectacular and one of our favourites, though please note there are no facilities. Early mornings and evenings are the best time to enjoy this beautiful beach.

A further 5-8 minute drive takes you to the beautiful Port of Mahon with its wealth of bars, restaurants and local tourist shops. All in all an amazing location to enjoy a relaxing family holiday away from it all…Friday change-over.

Resort information

Sant Antoni & Cala Llonga are exclusive and sought-after areas of private villas nestling on low hills on the north shore of Mahon harbour, and are home to some of the largest and most prestigious real estate in Menorca. Cala Llonga now has its own supermarket, which offers a delivery service. The nearest bars and restaurants are in Mahon; its port and marina are 5-10 minutes by car.
