A beautiful and very spacious four bedroom, three bathroom country house
set in five acres of its own land and constructed in 2003 in the style
of a traditional Menorquin casa de campo.
In its
sprawling rural plot this property offers complete privacy and a totally
relaxing, laid-back and tranquil setting for its privileged guests, yet
is situated on the outskirts of the lovely typical old Menorquin village
of Torret, with its whitewashed limestone houses and dry stone walls and
is only around 2km from the charming and historic town of Sant Lluis.
The nearest beaches of Binibeca, Punta Prima and Alcaufar are just a 7
min drive or, for the more energetic, Binibeca is a 30 minute delightful
country walk away.
The
entrance door opens into the hall, and in turn this leads into a large,
bright open-plan lounge, dining and kitchen-breakfast area, with high
beamed ceilings.
The
living room is comfortably furnished with two sofas and various other
items of furniture, and has a TV with access to UK Sky free-to-view
satellite channels, and a DVD player and CD music system, and there is a

climbing honeysuckle, jasmine and other fragrant plants. There is a
large covered terrace area beyond this, with teak garden furniture.
In front
is the terraced sunbathing lawn leading to the 12m chemical-free pool.
Steps next to the pool lead to a lower 27x15m lawn, designed for croquet
or other games, overlooked by a shady pergola .Close to this area is a
petanc court and sand volleyball/badminton court and lovely formal and
natural gardens. The whole area, amounting to five acres, is a paradise
for children and adults to explore and enjoy.
The
kitchen, designed in the style of a traditional Menorquin farmhouse, is
furnished with fitted teak units, marble work surfaces and is equipped
with high quality equipment including Baumatic stainless steel gas hob,
Smeg electric oven and extractor, large American-style fridge-freezer
with chilled and filtered water supply and ice-maker, a further freezer,

terrace and pool, attractive full ensuite marble bathroom; another with
two single beds, open-plan style wardrobe area and another stylish
ensuite with step-up bath set in a marble surround. From this bedroom a

accommodation for one or two guests (not considered suitable for young
children). The third ground floor bedroom is a small one equipped with a
single wrought iron bed, wardrobe and shelves. There is a separate
toilet and utility room.
