Binixica is conveniently situated just a 6/7-minute drive from the airport (though is not under the flightpath, and is free of airport disturbance), 2/3 minutes from the pleasant local town of Sant Climente, which provides the nearest supermarket, shops, bars and restaurants, and just 10 minutes to the capital of Mahon. Although offering the peace and quiet of a rural village rather than the more crowded and public environment of a resort town, there are numerous beaches and resorts close at hand, including Calas Coves (3/4 minutes drive, then a walk across the rocks), Cala en Porter (5 minutes) and Binisafua, Binibeca, Punta Prima and Alcaufar (10-20 minutes).
