TM005  This modern villa is situated in Sol del Este (Es Castell) with wonderful sea and harbour views from the garden and upper level. Sol del Este is a residential holiday area with a small inlet beach, and several shops and bars. Just a 10-minute walk away is Cales Fonts, the pretty harbour well known for its busy nautical activity and superb restaurants, tapas bars and street handicraft stalls.

Exterior
The house is built on a plot of approximately 1000sq m. There is a swimming pool with roman steps which is surrounded by a lawned garden, sunbathing terraces, built-in barbeque, and a shaded terrace, ideal for outdoor dining.

Interior
The house is set on two floors and is bright, sunny and tastefully decorated. The property has central heating for the cooler months (available for a supplement). There is direct access to the pool and garden from the comfortably furnished lounge with TV (free to view satellite channels) and CD music system. The well-equipped fitted kitchen has oven/hob, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher.

First Floor: one double bedroom with ensuite full bathroom, two twin bedrooms, one full bathroom.

This is an ideal location for a relaxing family holiday as the villa is superbly located for tranquillity and privacy but is still close to all facilities. Many beaches are within a 10 minute drive and the bustling capital, Mahon is just five minutes by car. Friday change-over.

Menorca east region guide

Sol del Este is a small, quiet resort-town with a few bar-restaurants and two supermarkets. It also has a small, gently shelving beach in a cove, just 3-4 minutes walk from the apartments. However, less than four minutes by car (or around 10 minutes walk around the headland) is the bustling town of Es Castell with its wide selection of restaurants, bars, supermarkets, speciality shops and general facilities - as well as Calas Fonts, the lovely horseshoe-shaped fishing port and harbour of Es Castell, which boasts more than 20 bars and restaurants, plus a street market and entertainers on several evenings per week during the season.
