This newly completed and unusually spacious three-bedroom/two-bathroom fully air-conditioned villa is of stylish, modern design and has a definite touch of luxury. Occupying an elevated plot of some 1000sq m on the second line from the sea, close to Binibeca and Cala Torret, it offers beautiful views to the Mediterranean, just a few hundred metres away. From the quiet street in which it is situated, a rising wide private driveway and path lead up to the villa. To the front is an elevated landscaped garden, with a good sized lawn and a variety of colourful shrubs and plants. The villa's 8x4m swimming pool is also located in the front, with an ample tiled terrace area to the front, equipped with six sun loungers. Just up from the pool terrace, steps lead to a large covered terrace to the front of the villa; here is the teak dining table and chairs and substantial additional space for relaxing. Floor-to-ceiling sliding double-glazed doors provide access to the sitting and dining room (as well as outstanding sea views); this is a spacious and airy room with high ceilings. Naturally the villa is equipped with all the necessary crockery, cutlery and utensils for the self-catering family holiday. Off the lounge and kitchen, a passageway leads to three good-sized bedrooms. To the left is the master bedroom, a particularly spacious room with dressing area and fitted wardrobes, king-sized bed and attractive headboard and co-ordinating bedside tables. Large sliding patio doors open on to the front terrace and provide stunning sea views. The master suite also offers a lovely large shower room with double wash basins, large walk-in wetroom-style shower with glass shower screen, WC and bidet all in a modern contemporary style. Further down the passageway are two further bedrooms, one to the left and one to the right, both with two single beds, bedside tables and ample fitted wardrobes. Both of these bedrooms are served by the family shower-room/WC, which is of similar design and quality as the master ensuite. Also off the passageway is the large utility room with washing machine, and also found here is the main entrance door and hall to the villa, positioned on the side elevation. On the long drive there is space for several cars, and to the sides and rear of the villa there are further gravelled garden areas. At over 170sq m this villa offers its guests larger than usual accommodation for a three-bedroomed villa, and a full integral air-conditioning and heating system to all bedrooms and the lounge. This attractive, high quality villa offers a relaxed, very comfortable and tranquil base for enjoying all that Menorca has to offer. Although situated in a quiet and peaceful, sought-after residential area, the various restaurants, bars and shops of Cala Torret and the lovely, sandy Binibeca beach are just a few minutes walk away. The historic town of Sant Lluis is six minutes by car, and the capital Mahon, with its beautiful harbour, marina and many shops, entertainment and cultural facilities, is 15 minutes drive. Monday change-over. The coastal resort of Binibeca has a lovely sandy beach and sheltered bay, and features numerous shops, restaurants and bars. There is a diving school and boat launching facilities at Cala Torret. The nearby historic town of Sant Lluis is just six mins by car, Mahon around 15 minutes and the airport around the same. |
