Situated in an enviable countryside location in the S'Albufuera nature park, this very comfortable villa offers a truly peaceful location for a relaxing family holiday while still only five minutes drive from the popular resort of Es Grau with its sandy beach and shallow, child-friendly waters. S'Albufuera is an officially designated Biosfera - an area of declared outstanding natural beauty - and is subject to the highest level of conservation protection. It is home to a wide variety of migratory birdlife, including several rare species. The surrounding countryside views are stunning and this villa is ideal for those who like to walk and ramble. A car is necessary to reach the villa and the amazing privacy and seclusion it offers. Set in landscaped gardens on a large plot, the villa offers three bedrooms in the main house and, on the lower pool level, a further annexe which can sleep up to four. This annexe is especially suitable for teenagers, who can have their own space. Rustic Menorcan gates lead into the garden and the front door opens into a small hallway with, to the rear, a WC/cloakroom and, to the left, a master air-conditioned bedroom with two single beds, built-in wardrobes and an ensuite full bathroom. To the right of the hall is the open plan kitchen/living room. The kitchen is to the rear and features gas hob/electric oven and extractor hood, microwave, fridge freezer, twin basin sink and built-in units and dishwasher. The washing machine is in a separate area of its own. The living area is to the front of the room with french doors opening on to the covered dining terrace with table and chairs. To the side of this terrace is a built-in barbecue. The living room features comfortable sofas and chairs, coffee table, TV with free to view satellite English channels plus DVD, portable CD music system and an iPod dock. There is also a large chest with plenty of games for the children. Two large ceiling fans keep this room cool. Off the living/dining area is a door to the other bedrooms, one double and one twin, both with their own ensuite bathrooms (one with a bath and overhead shower and one with shower cubicle). Both bedrooms have built-in wardrobes, fans and lovely countryside views from the windows. Steps lead down from the covered terrace off the living area to the pool and terraces with a pergola covered in bougainvillea to provide shade. On this terrace are plenty of sunloungers and side tables, a further small dining table/chairs and lots of sunbathing areas. The 10x5m swimming pool has ladder access at both ends. Just behind the pergola is the entrance to the annexe, which features an ante room with a single bed plus a further large bedroom with a double bed and a single. These rooms share a shower room/WC. This comfortable, unique villa is being offered for rental for the first time in 2008 and its first clients will enjoy total tranquility in its lovely grounds and location. Friday change-over. Es Grau has long been very popular as a beach resort. Its wonderful beach bar is a great place at sunset and the Tamarindos restaurant is a lovely spot just next to the water, where you can feed the fishes on the outside terrace while you dine. |
