This newly constructed, detached 5/6-bedroom three-bathroom villa is set in a unique and spectacular setting of the cliff-top head-land, just outside Es Castell. The front-line elevated position offers the most fantastic views of the sea across Mahon harbour. The spacious, individually designed villa comprises a large entrance hall with sliding ashwood doors into a spacious sitting room with comfortable furniture - two sofas, armchairs, low table, TV (with free-to-view satellite channel access), DVD, CD music system, open fireplace and wall-to-wall, floor-to-ceiling double glazed sliding door which offers access to the outside terrace, pool deck and wedge shaped infinity effect swimming pool with stunning views across the harbour. Off the sitting room is a large room with double sofa bed, which can be used for children if required, and floor-to-ceiling bow window overlooking the harbour. A door from this room provides direct access to the terrace and pool. Please note there are no blinds/curtains in this room. To the right of the entrance hall is the modern open plan kitchen-utility room and dining area. The kitchen is fully fitted with quality units including electric oven and ceramic hob, extractor, fridge-freezer, dishwasher and microwave. From the dining area a large sliding french door also provides great views and access to the outside sunbathing/dining terrace, wooden pool deck, pool and sea views. In addition there is a further small single bedroom/dressing room and a family bathroom. All upstairs rooms have doors providing access to an upper-level terrace. Externally and to the front of the villa there is a Mediterranean-style garden. To the rear and facing the sea there is tiled terracing - partly covered, partly open, with ample space for dining and sunbathing. Although situated on its own very private and secluded plot, with rustic green-belt to one side of the villa, the many bars, restaurants, shops and supermarkets of the historic town of Es Castell are just a few minutes stroll away. Flexible day change-over. Situated just five minutes drive from Mahon, Es Castell features two charming coves. The larger, Cala Fons, has an huge selection of waterside bars and restaurants, many based in the old caves of the cliff, while the other, Cala Corb, is a working fishing cove. Es Castell is an excellent base for those looking to stay close to a town's amenities and travel by car to explore the island. |
