This stunning brand new villa is situated in the upmarket residential resort of Cala Llonga, within walking distance of the recently opened supermarket, and enjoys lovely views over the harbour. The ultra-modern design incorporates lots of glass, flooding the villa with natural light and giving a very spacious, luxurious feel. The villa sits sideways on to the road with doors opening on to an elevated car port. The entrance level has teak decking and a sunbathing/dining area. Glass doors open into the entrance hall with, to the left, a superb kitchen with a range of modern appliances including built-in oven/hob and microwave, large fridge/freezer with ice-maker, dishwasher, fully fitted units with granite work surfaces and a complete range of utensils and crockery. To the left of the kitchen is a WC and washbasin. Turn right from the entrance and you arrive in the upper galleried dining area, which offers superb sea views. Fifteen teak stairs from the dining room lead down to the living areas on the lower level, and the pool area. The air-conditioned living room is very comfortably furnished with a rattan corner unit sofa, large coffee table, floor cushions, flat screen TV and DVD with Sky free to view channels. A log fire adds a benefit for low season bookings when the nights may be chilly. Floor-to-ceiling glass sliding doors open on to the mares stone terraces surrounding the 11x4m infinity pool, and the barbecue area. Teak sunloungers, table and chairs add to the luxurious effect. Off the terrace is the utility room with a larger larder fridge, washing machine and tumble dryer. Metal stairs lead back from this area to the upper dining level and road. Landscaped areas with native Mediterranean shrubs surround the terraces. The bedroom accommodation is situated on the lower living level. The spacious master king suite has doors to pool terrace, built-in wardrobes, air-conditioning/heating and a full modern ensuite bathroom. There are two further bedrooms, one double and one twin, both with air-conditioning/heating, doors to terrace and built-in wardrobes. These bedrooms share a shower room and a separate WC with washbasin. The fourth bedroom with ensuite bathroom has a separate entrance from the pool terrace and is suitable for those wanting complete privacy from rest of the villa. This bedroom has its own small fridge and a kettle. Standards of fixtures/fittings and furnishings in this villa are very high and it is a lovely location for a relaxing holiday in this upmarket area. It has to be noted however, that this property is not really suitable for very small children and toddlers because of the many steps. Friday change-over. Cala Llonga is an exclusive and sought-after area of private villas nestling on low hills on the north shore of Mahon harbour, home to some of the largest and most prestigious real estate in Menorca. Cala Llonga now has its own supermarket, which offers a delivery service. The nearest bars and restaurants are in Mahon; its port and marina are 5-10 minutes by car. The nearest beach is the lovely natural sandy cove of Sa Mesquida, five minutes by car. |
