A spacious villa featuring air-conditioned bedrooms and with a large gated private pool, on a large plot of nearly 1000m2, in the quiet and peaceful residential estate of Binixica. The villa has undergone extensive renovation and offers modern kitchen, bathrooms and new floor tiles throughout. The villa, arranged on a single storey, comprises entrance door into a small hallway which leads on to a large living room, furnished with sofas and lounge chairs, TV/video/DVD and Sky free-to-view channel access, CD music player. Leading from the lounge is a dining area with bar, and then french doors opening on to the extensive terrace, garden and 10x5m swimming pool, which can be gated from the patio area for child safety. From one end of the living room a door leads to the new and good sized kitchen, fully equipped for the self-catered holiday with electric oven, hob, microwave, fridge-freezer, washing machine and dishwasher. Also from the lounge is access to the master bedroom, which has air-conditioning, double bed, built-in wardrobe, bedside tables, ensuite shower room. There are two further air-conditioned bedrooms, both with twin beds and fitted wardrobes with a bath/shower room between them. At the front of the villa there is ample of off-street parking. Friday is usually the changeover day. Binixiquer is conveniently situated just a 6/7 minutes drive from the airport (though is not under the flightpath and is free from airport disturbance). The pleasant local village of Sant Climent is 2/3 minutes drive from the villa, and provides the nearest supermarket, shops, bars and restaurants. The island capital is Mahon, which is 10 minutes by car from the villa. Although offering the peace and quiet of a rural estate rather than the more crowded and public environment of a resort town, there are numerous beaches and resorts close at hand, including Calas Coves (3/4 minutes drive, then a walk across the rocks), Cala en Porter (5 minutes) and Binisafua, Binibeca, Punta Prima and Alcaufar (10/20 minutes) |
