A large, superior-standard detached villa situated in a pleasant and quiet residential area of Cala en Porter which has been maintained to an excellent standard. It offers very comfortable accommodation with a high degree of privacy, and the benefit of lovely sea views - yet is only five minutes walk from the bars, restaurants, shopping and entertainment of Cala en Porter and the steps to the resort's sandy sheltered beach. The property can provide two self-contained units of accommodation, ideal for the family with grandparents or teenagers who prefer their own space. In the main house are three air-conditioned bedrooms - a master with king-size bed and luxury ensuite bathroom and two further bedrooms with twin beds. All have quality fitted wardrobes and ceiling fans. There is a further family bathroom and a living/dining room with quality sofa and armchairs, dining table and chairs, TV (with free-to-air satellite channels), video and music system. The fully equipped kitchen features modern, quality appliances including fridge-freezer, microwave, washing machine and dishwasher. French doors in the living room lead to a large terrace/balcony with a full range of garden furniture and offering superb views to the sea. The 10x5m pool has extensive tiled sun terraces surrounding it. Off the pool terrace and underneath the main house is the guest annexe which has a large living area with TV, open-plan kitchen - again fully equipped - separate air-conditioned bedroom with twin beds, and a shower room/wc. To the side of the property is an extensive shaded outside dining area with large BBQ, butler sink and preparation area, plus full range of garden furniture. Friday change-over. The popular, busy family resort of Cala en Porter has something for everyone. A large resort by Menorcan standards and one of the oldest on the island, it is situated on the south-east coast with a lovely setting on the eastern cliffs above a large sandy beach with sunloungers and pedaloes for hire. It has an abundance of bars, restaurants, supermarkets and shops, catering mostly for the British. A roadtrain carries visitors up and down from the resort to the beach. Cala en Porter is famous for the Coves d'en Xoroi - a complex of natural caves high up on the side of the cliff to the east of the beach. During the summer the caves are open daily |
