This spacious apartment is situated above the slipway leading down to the cove of Cala Corb in Es Castell; less than a minute's walk will take you to the water's edge. Entry to the apartment is via stairs to first floor. It comprises a spacious living room with french doors on to a small balcony with lovely views over the harbour. There is a TV in the living room for use with the DVD (no TV channels). Off the main hallway is a compact kitchen amply equipped with all utensils, full cooker, fridge/freezer and microwave. The large twin bedroom has a separate dressing area and full bathroom. To the rear of the hallway is a small, walled garden with table and chairs. Steps lead up to a large roof terrace, ideal for sunbathing. A larger-than-average apartment and an excellent budget base from which to savour the local atmosphere. All the amenities of Es Castell are within walking distance. Monday change-over. Situated just five minutes drive from Mahon, Es Castell features two charming coves. The larger, Cala Fons, has an huge selection of waterside bars and restaurants, many based in the old caves of the cliff, while the other, Cala Corb, is a working fishing cove. Es Castell is an excellent base for those looking to stay close to a town's amenities and travel by car to explore the island. |
