This brand new executive-style apartment close to the popular old harbour area of the vibrant city of Ciutadella boasts not only comfortable accommodation for four but also every modern convenience, including integral air-conditioning throughout, underground parking and a shared swimming pool. Situated in a bustling street near the heart of the city, the first-floor apartment has just been completed and has been stylishly furnished and equipped. Access from the street is through a cool marble-clad communal entrance, and up a short flight of stairs or via the elevator. On the left as you enter the apartment is the modern kitchen with dishwasher, washing machine, oven/hob, microwave and fridge/freezer, plus fitted wooden units and ample supplies of crockery and cutlery. Beyond the kitchen is the living/dining area, which features two smart leather sofas and a dining table seating four. There is a flat-screen TV with DVD and a sophisticated CD/MP3 music system. Perched at the end of the living room is a small balcony terrace over the street, accessed by french windows and just large enough to accommodate a small table and four director-style chairs. There are two bedrooms: a twin at the front (street) side with fitted wardrobes and a double at the rear of the property, again with fitted wardrobes, which has the benefit of an ensuite shower room with wc. Between the two bedrooms is a further separate shower room with wc and basin. The attractive gardens of the apartment complex feature a large, crescent-shaped swimming pool with roman steps, approximately 12m at its widest, which is surrounded by mares stone terracing. There are two sun loungers with the apartment to be used around the pool or in the extensive grassy areas of the communal garden. There is a poolside shower/wc. Beneath the apartments is an underground garage, accessed via a remotely operated security door. In the street nearby is a children's play area, and also one of the city's best Italian restaurants. The many eating and drinking establishments of the city centre and the popular harbour are less than 10 minutes away by foot. Friday change-over. Ciutadella offers an excellent choice of bars and restaurants, and is truly a delight to explore with its narrow cobbled streets, ancient buildings, variety of shops selling local jewellery, food and leather goods, and colourful history. The historic port, with its little fishing boats and sleek yachts, also offers an excellent selection of restaurants. |
