A nice, well maintained two-bedroom ground-floor apartment in the ever popular Siesta Mar apartment complex, close to the beach and the centre of Cala en Porter. The apartment has a spacious enclosed patio to the front with plenty of room for the patio table and chairs, a couple of sun loungers and the barbecue. French doors from the patio access the living/dining room, which is neatly furnished with sofa, pine dining table and chairs, flat-screen TV (with access to some English language free-to-view satellite channels). Off the living room/diner is a compact, well planned kitchen with gas cooker, fridge/freezer, microwave, toaster and electric kettle. A corridor to the rear leads to the bathroom, which is fully tiled, with bath, shower attachment and curtain, wash basin, bidet and WC, storage unit and a large integral mirror. The two bedrooms are at either end of the corridor; both are furnished with single beds (in one, they can be pushed together and arranged as a double), bedside tables and fitted wardrobes. Both have access to an enclosed rear patio. Both front and rear patios overlook the attractive and spacious gardens, which comprise an extensive lawned area plus trees and a variety of colourful shrubs. From the front patio, there is also a partial sea view. The residents and guests of the Siesta Mar apartments have the use of an excellent swimming pool (one of the largest in the resort) which includes a separated shallow splash pool for the little ones, and also a small children's play park. The pool and playground are less than 120m from the apartment. Although this apartment is situated in a quiet, tranquil fringe of the complex, guests can stroll to the complex bar, restaurant and reception in less than two minutes, and to the centre of the resort, with its wide variety of restaurants, bars, shops and leisure facilities in about four minutes. The steps which provide access to Cala en Porter's beautiful sandy beach are also four minutes away. Friday change-over. The popular, busy family resort of Cala en Porter has something for everyone. A large resort by Menorcan standards and one of the oldest on the island, it is situated on the south-east coast with a lovely setting on the eastern cliffs above a large sandy beach with sunloungers and pedaloes for hire. It has an abundance of bars, restaurants, supermarkets and shops, catering mostly for the British. A roadtrain carries visitors up and down from the resort to the beach. Cala en Porter is famous for the Coves d'en Xoroi - a complex of natural caves high up on the side of the cliff to the east of the beach. During the summer the caves are open daily
