AF036  This pleasant ground floor three-bedroom apartment is very conveniently situated adjacent to the large swimming pool, terraces and landscaped gardens in a popular complex with lovely sea views.

The apartment is accessed from the large private terrace through shuttered french doors, which open into a good sized living/dining room. This L-shaped room is furnished with two good quality sofas, and a range of matching pine furniture including bookcase/display cabinet, coffee table, dining table and chairs. There is a TV (local channel access only) and a DVD player which, of course, can also be used to play music CDs.

Off the dining area is a tiled and compact fitted kitchen with a range of pinewood units, marble worktops, electric oven, gas hob, fridge/freezer, toaster, electric kettle and a full range of crockery, cutlery, cooking and serving utensils. A washing machine and tumble dryer are situated in the bathroom.

A corridor to the rear of the living/diner leads to the three bedrooms, a double, a twin and a bunk-bedded room. All have ample wardrobe space and bedside tables. They share a full family bathroom.

This is a small, quiet community of 40 apartments built in the traditional and attractive style of a typical Spanish 'pueblo' (village), and the owners and guests enjoy beautiful lawned communal gardens which have many colourful and fragrant Mediterranean plants, shrubs and trees, plus a large and newly renovated swimming pool (with separate shallow end for children) with feature overflow with 'infinity' effect on the sea-side of the pool.

The complex is less than five minutes stroll from Son Parc's lovely sweeping sandy beach, Son Saura, accessed by steps. Just across from the development is a general shop located within a small aparthotel. A wider range of shops, supermarket, bars and restaurants are in the centre of Son Parc, 12 minutes walk away. Friday change-over.

Menorca north region guide

Son Parc is an attractive urbanisation on Menorca's beautiful north coast. It has its own lovely horseshoe-shaped sandy beach, as well as a good selection of shops, restaurants and bars. Between five and 10 minutes drive is a range of other beaches and resorts, including Arenal d'en Castell, Na Macaret, Puerto Addaya and the picturesque fishing village of Fornells. Journey time from the airport is approximately 25 minutes. To get the most from a holiday based in Son Parc, we strongly recommend a hire car.
