AF003  A spacious ground floor apartment offering three bedrooms and two bathrooms and designed and furnished in a traditional Menorcan rustic style. There is a good sized communal swimming pool and lawned gardens, and the apartment enjoys what must be the best view over the beach and bay of Arenal d'en Castell. This relaxed and pleasant family resort boasts one of Menorca's most beautiful sandy beaches, set in a sweeping bay enclosed by rocky hills, and offering safe, sheltered and shallow bathing.

The property is situated at the end of a terrace of duplexes in a short cul-de-sac (so no through traffic), and occupies high ground which dominates the bay and resort, providing the breathtaking views from the enormous (part covered) terrace outside the living/dining room, and from two of the three bedrooms on the first floor.

There is a small open hall area, with a galley-style kitchen off. The kitchen is fully equipped for a self-catering holiday and equipment/appliances include gas hob, electric oven, washing machine, electric toaster, kettle, microwave etc. Immediately next to the kitchen is a dining area with farmhouse style table and six chairs, and two steps leading down to a good sized living room. There is a sofa and two lounge chairs, coffee table and TV (Spanish channels only).

Large french doors to the balcony/terrace offer uninterrupted and spectacular views of the beach, bay and sea beyond, and access to the huge private terrace (approx 45sq m). The terrace is equipped with patio table and chairs, BBQ and several sun beds.

Stairs in the lounge/diner lead to the upper floor, where there are three bedrooms… one double, another with two single beds, and the smallest bedroom with bunk beds, providing standard accommodation for six people. The double bedroom and bunk bedroom have full-length doors (with safety rails outside) to make the most of the sea views. The two bathrooms both have half-baths and shower attachments and curtains, wash basins and lavatories.

Although located in one of the quieter areas of the resort, there is an excellent bar/restaurant just a few metres from the duplex, and a good selection of further bars, restaurants, shops and entertainment plus, of course, the beach with its full range of facilities 5-10 minutes stroll. Friday changeover.

Arenal d'en Castell is a popular resort with a loyal following of guests who love to return year after year, drawn by the relaxed atmosphere, good range of restaurants and bars and, of course, its beautiful sheltered horseshoe-shaped beach. As well as Arenal, there are numerous other beaches close by. The island's 18-hole golf course, at Son Parc, is a 10-minute drive.
