How
do I pay and when will be balance be due?
A 25% deposit is payable by cheque/debit or credit card to Travel Menorca Ltd. The
property booked will be held for seven days while payment and booking
forms are returned to our office. Your confirmation will be sent by
return. Balance is due eight weeks
before your departure. Please allow 14 days to receive your final
instructions from receipt of balance payment.
What
information does Travel Menorca need?
All names of persons travelling and ages if under 16. Full contact
postal address, day/evening and mobile telephone numbers and fax and
email if applicable. Flight details in full. We cannot guarantee to have
your chosen property ready for occupation without them.
Are
linen and towels provided in the property?
All bedroom linen, bath and hand towels are provided. You will have
to bring your own towels for use by the pool and on the beach.
What
is in the welcome pack?
Three types of welcome pack are available and they must be booked at
least three weeks in advance. Full contents list for both are listed on
our extras price list. Do not rely on the packs to feed you for several
days as they are only basic essentials to last until the shops open. For
your convenience we would recommend a welcome pack if you are arriving
late in the evening. We are happy to arrange specially selected shopping
from a provided list for an extra charge.
Is
maid service included in the price?
You will have an interim clean and linen change if you are staying
for 10 nights or longer. Any additional maid service can be booked and
paid for in the UK and must be booked at least two weeks prior to your
departure.
Where
do I pick up my keys?
Details regarding your key collection will be sent in your final
instructions once payment is received.
If
satellite TV is in the villa, what channels will I receive?
Many of our villas are equipped with satellite TV set-top boxes
which receive the Sky "free to view" channels, which currently
include BBC1 and BBC2. Click here for a more
complete listing. Please note that Sky viewing cards are not
standard equipment, which means that the ITV channels, Sky 1 and Sky
Sports/Movies will not be available.

Equipment
in the properties
All properties contain iron, ironing board, electric kettle and
toaster and most have washing machines. If in any doubt, please check
with us before you depart regarding the particular equipment in your
chosen property. Full facility details are available on request for each
property although we cannot be held responsible for this list as changes
may occur during the season without notice.
What
happens if I break something in the property?
Please notify the property manager immediately who will advise you
on the cost of a replacement
Air-conditioning/heating
When a property is equipped with air conditioning, this will be
depicted accordingly. Most properties do not have any form of heating
but heaters may be booked in the UK if needed. This is recommended for
early and late season bookings as the nights can be chilly. Aircon in
most cases will attract a supplementary charge if you wish to use it -
please check.
Can
we go to the villa before 3pm on arrival?
This is not possible as the maids will need to work at cleaning your
property. You are respectfully reminded to adhere to this request as
entry time cannot be changed under any circumstances. Luggage may be
left at the Sant Lluis office if needed both on arrival and departure.
Can
we stay in the villa after the 10am vacating time?
Not normally but if you have very special requirements for needing
to stay after 1000, please ask our management company in resort at least
two days prior to your departure. They may be able to help in certain
exceptional cases. Please do not phone the UK office as they will not be
able to help.
Do
any of the villas have safes?
Yes - many do. Please enquire about your chosen property before
travelling.
Can
I book equipment for children?
We offer cots and highchairs. All must be pre-booked and paid for in
full in the UK. They will be in your property on arrival. Please clean
them thoroughly prior to your departure for the next client. We also
offer a baby-sitting service. Please check for full details.
What
happens if we have an emergency in the villa?
Our English-speaking management company provides 24 hour telephone
numbers for any EMERGENCY situation.
